A lifelong Newburyport local, Jasmine has deep ties to the community and a strong passion for supporting its youth. With 25 years of experience as a bookkeeper, she brings financial expertise and organizational skills to her role on the board. Beyond numbers, Jasmine is a talented artist whose work has been featured in Lilly Pulitzer stores and admired by fans up and down the East Coast.
Jasmine and her husband, Ian, have raised three daughters—Bailley, Devynn, and Quinn—each of whom participated in Youth Services programs over the last two decades. Having witnessed firsthand the impact of these programs, she is a dedicated advocate for their needs, ensuring that local kids have access to meaningful opportunities, support and a place to belong.
When she’s not working or volunteering, Jasmine enjoys traveling, watching hockey, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Her commitment to the board’s mission and her desire to make a difference continue to shape the future of Newburyport’s youth.
Andy Boger is an entrepreneur and small business owner and lives downown with his wife Olivia, three young boys, and their dog Harry. A long time teacher, educator and athletic coach, he is certified nationally and internationally.
Traditionally, his board work has consisted of educational and environmental causes. He currently serves on the Newburyport School Committee. Andy feels very fortunate to be a part of an organization that strives to bring accessibility and a wide spectrum of services and development opportunities to as many youth in the City as possible.
Ryann brings over 20 years of professional experience in communications and change management, helping organizations navigate transformation. Originally from New Jersey, Ryann moved to the North Shore via Colorado with her husband, Jon who grew up in the area to raise their family.
Ryann’s two sons, Samuel and Jack, have benefited from the people and programming at the Department of Youth and Recreation, inspiring her passion. She combines her strategic expertise and commitment to the community to help further the mission, ensuring all local youth have the opportunity to achieve greatness. Ryann enjoys spending time outdoors with her family—whether by the water, hiking with their dog or traveling
Kim has 30 years of clinical experience as a psychotherapist working with children and families in various capacities and for many years has been involved with various non-profits on boards and committees for children, families and mental health.
Kim grew up in Maine, coming to Boston for graduate school and years later, eventually to Newburyport, which she has called home for many years. She became involved with the organization shortly after moving to Newburyport in 2016, when she ran into an old grad school friend who was on the board at the time.
Kim is dedicated to and passionate about helping children and families have all the opportunities possible to be able to feel connected and to thrive. She and her fiance, Derek enjoy giving back and helping the community however they can. Kim also enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, helping and connecting people and appreciating the beautiful area we are lucky to live in.
